Today marks the one year of the Samoa tsunami. I remember when they spoke of it on KSL and it didn't really hit me until I tuned in on the Samoan Radio website. My heart was torn into pieces. Although I wasn't there I was affected by it in a way that I would never have thought to be. I cried that whole week and immediately started to go through my clothes and household stuff so that when the donating spots opened up my family would be able to do whatever we can to help out. I longed to be there to help my people. I was so sad. I feel for the families that lost everything. I hope and continue to keep praying for our people back home in the islands.
